Graduating project linking rave culture and football hooligan / non-league scene, using type design, based on the idea of “when Saturday comes” as the shared similarity between the two subject areas, researching the history of the working week and exploring the juxtoposition of the freedom of the weekend vs a structured work life.

The outcomes included a comprehensive type guidelines document, that show both typefaces, how they work together and inspirations. Two typographic scarves and a football flag, as well as a process book. The typeface was used by Oscar Cheung in 3D form to promote Pattern’s nightclub summer lineup in Brighton.
